Overview:

My research investigates urban and rural soundscapes through a multi-method approach incorporating questionnaire surveys, soundwalk methodologies, and controlled laboratory experiments. Recent work has focused on immersive virtual reality studies combining auditory and visual stimuli. Key focus areas include:

• Perceptual dimensions of urban and rural sound environments
• Restorative benefits of natural sounds and acoustic design elements
• Indoor soundscape evaluation and optimisation
